JD Svenson

JD Svenson is a crack litigation solicitor at the University of Newcastle Legal Centre specialising in environmental law. She has written stories from the time she could hold a pen. She is also a clinical teacher, candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy in Creative Writing at the University of Newcastle, and the single mother of two boys. Her first novel, Direct Action, is the culmination of a youth spent in environmental campaigning, a passion for the natural world, and fear for the loss of civil liberties for legitimate protest.
